How its made buy Pa-pa jewellery.
I was asked by a friend to design and make a pendant in silver showing a view of Three Cliffs Bay, Gower with a portrait of their dog Lexi sitting in the foreground. This shortened video shows how it was made at the Pa-pa workshop on the edge of the Gower Peninsula South Wales.
I begin by drawing the design, working out the composition, hand carving the head the dog in silver clay and cutting the landscape from silver sheet. The later stages of the creative process include setting a white diamond at the top of the pendant and polishing which is too long a process for the purpose of this short film.
You can see more at the Pa-pa jewellery you tube channel.
I hope you are inspired.
