I have always had a wonderful fascination with the shapes and colours of the seashells that are washed up along our beautiful Welsh shores. The purple Pipi shell is one of the most colourful displaying a dull yellow tinged exterior that hides the most beautiful array of purple and lilac inside. Only 1 inch long the beautiful shells are found in their masses along the 5km sandy stretch from Rhossili to Llangennith Beach and on to Burry Holmes on the Gower Peninsula, South Wales. U.K
I have polished and set these two coupled Gower shells in the shape of a heart. The design represents our love of the sea and its hidden natural treasures, its uplifting and calming influence. This design is part of the Gower shells limited edition collection by Pa-pa jewellery.
